The Williamsburg Police Department has compiled a list of the more common frequently asked questions (FAQ). Where is the Williamsburg Police Station? What are the business hours of the Police Department?
A. The Williamsburg Police Department is located at 16 South Main Street in the Village of Haydenville. Adjacent to the fire station, it is a short distance off of Route 9 at the Bridge & High Street intersection.
Our town is covered 24 hours per day by the 911 Emergency system.

Q. How can I obtain a copy of a record or report?
A. You should fill out a copy of the Williamsburg Police Department's "Records Request Form" (you can download one by clicking here) attach the appropriate fee (normally $5) and mail it or drop it off at the police department. Be advised that your request will be approved or denied by a supervisor based upon certain criteria. If your insurance company has asked you to obtain a copy of an officers' accident report, kindly inform your agent that they should make the request and send the appropriate fee to the police department. Most area insurance agents are aware of our policy.

Q. Who should I call about a loose or problem dog.
A. You should call Bill or Deb Turner, Williamsburg Dog Officers at (413) 268-3145.
A. You should contact Don Lawton, the Williamsburg Animal Control Officer at Q. Can the police department check my home or business while I am away on vacation? A.Yes. This is a special service provided by your police department. Please fill out our form and drop it off at the police station before you leave. Officers on patrol will randomly check on the security of your home while you are away. You can download a Security Check Form by clicking Here. Q. If on returning home I find my door open, should I go inside?
A. NEVER go into a building where you suspect a robbery may be in progress. Go to a neighbor’s house and call the police. If you arrive home and find a broken window, an alarm sounding, or another indication of a break-in, DO NOT GO IN. You do not want to encounter an intruder, or damage any evidence such as fingerprints or footprints.
